Wii Holds Hands w/ Majesco
Publisher Majesco has praised the lower development costs of Nintendo's Wii console, and intends to refocus its business to take advantage of the systems true potential. In addition to bringing Bust-A-Move Revolution to the table, the publisher has revealed it plans to fully support the development of more Wii titles heading into 2007.
"Looking forward, we believe that Nintendo's new Wii console has excellent potential to capture the mass market gamer while remaining within our more conservative cost structure," revealed Jesse Sutton, Majesco's interim chief executive officer.
"As such, we are expanding our strategic focus to capitalise on the potential of this system, and currently have two Wii games in development. Going into our last quarter, we are looking to our holiday line-up to build momentum for 2007," she added.
These comments came following the release of the publishers third quarter financial results. Unfortunately, no mention of what two titles are currently in development for Wii are, but I'm sure we'll find out in due time.
Support for Wii is looking promising thus far, we expect many more publishers/developers to follow suit.

Well many developers will want to play around with Wii, the question is how many will stick with it, making numerous in-depth games, rather than just one or two...
