Microsoft to Launch Xbox 360 w/ Built-In HD-DVD

Straight from the pipeline in Taiwan, Microsoft may be in the process of designing an XBox 360 unit which contains a built-in HD-DVD drive. Apparently, the jolly green giant and its bi-focal bearing leader are in the process of selecting manufacturers for the internal drive. The console could very well hit shelves as early as next year. Already in the works is an external HD-DVD drive for the 360, which will be available later this year. Saaah-weet!
