Last Chance For Wii Pre-Order

Still haven't secured a pre-order ticket for one of the most anticipated next-gen consoles (well they're all anticipated heavily, but I guess that was obvious)? Well GameStop/EB Games is giving gamers one last chance. In their most recent newsletter GameStop announced that this Thursday evening (no specific time mentioned) they would be selling pre-orders for Nintendo's Wii console. The catch? Without being too specific as to what's included, GameStop made it sound as if they were only offering Wii bundles, possibly priced no higher than $699.99. Here's an excerpt from the newsletter:

"This Thursday evening (CST), November 9, your opportunity to get in on the excitement arrives when the Wii Bundle becomes available for purchase online at GameStop.com. You'll get the best games, accessories and more in one convenient package delivered right to your door - all for under $699 plus tax and handling."

Will this Thursday find gamers upset over having to purchase expensive accessories and unwanted games for a $250 console? I would love to think that wouldn't be the case, but if memory serves me correctly, EB Games only offered GameCube console bundles through its' online pre-ordering event. Then again, it's either this or taking your chances in a line outside the store. Either way, good luck!

That's an obscene bundle.
