The Regional Wii

News first leaked that Nintendo Wii games would not be susceptible to regional locks. This news was true, in fact, for Wii games only. All GameCube games, and titles available on the Wii virtual console (N64, SNES, NES, etc), will be bound by their original regional restrictions and locks as when they were first released. In a nutshell, if that wasn't direct enough, you can't download an old SNES game exclusive to Japan and play it here in the US. It just wont happen, buddy.
