Wii Web Browser For Free

Earlier this week an announcement was made concerning the web browser for Nintendo's Wii console. Those who have been keeping up with Wii info. know that Nintendo's new machine can access the net through a Wi-Fi Connection to bring gamers to what is known as Wii Channels, where users can connect to a web browser.

Opera Software, creators of the Opera Web browser issued a press release stating that the tool would remain free for a limited time as part of a promotion. The deal ends in June of 2007 when Wii users all over will have to purchase the application. No word yet on how much the browser will cost in the future. More information as it comes.

Hopefully it will be a more functional browser than the DS version is reported to be.
