Resident Evil Saga Continues on Wii Console!
Last week's edition of Famitsu magazine revealed a story concerning what may be the next installment of Capcom's Resident Evil series. Currently, the Biohazard game is tentatively being referred to as Biohazard: Umbrella Chronicles and is being touted solely on Nintendo's new Wii console. Overseeing production on the new Resident Evil will be run by a man named Kawada Masachika, who was last seen helming the PS2 port of Resident Evil 4.
Though details at this point are scarce one can only wonder what implications and possibilities this may have on the Wii console coupled with the expanding tale of the corrupt Umbrella Corporation. Will this new Resident Evil introduce new characters or continue to unfold the lives of recurring ones? Will this latest Resident Evil be Wii-specific? How can the Wii-mote be used to successfully enhance gameplay, if at all? Hopefully, in the coming weeks some light will be shed on these and other questions, starting with the Tokyo Game Show this week. Stay tuned for future updates!
